Saxyman14 : Instead of a Tritone, you can also sub the V7(G in this case) with Eb7 and Bb7. All these are just built off the tension of the V7. Those are not the only substitutions... just the three most common. Also, while playing over any chord, using the root as other parts of different chords is a good way to play out. For example, if playing in C (yes, again, haha) You can make C the third, fifth, seventh, ninth, eleventh, or thirteenth. So, if you were to make it the major third, you'd play anway to play out.
